Product Quality

Hand Crafted Products:

​

Some of our products are hand crafted or hand produced such as assembly of multiple products into one finished product which is then sold as a whole unit. All of our freeze dried snacks and foods are produced onsite in our facility located in Anaconda, MT. using a small batch processing method. We produce inventory that we have available for immediate shipment in most cases and orders for freeze dried products are generally processed within 1-3 business days of your order. By using a small batch processing method we can provide the freshest product available to you as you order.

Fresh Gourmet Mushrooms:

We are also a cultivator of Gourmet Culinary Mushrooms and have many varieties available for purchase although some are seasonal due to weather. Our fresh mushrooms are cultivated at our facility located in Anaconda, MT.  Fresh Gourmet Mushrooms will be available for order through our website with delivery/pickup options available. We do not ship our fresh mushrooms in order to preserve their quality. We will be updating the site with options for farmers markets and public events where you will be able to pick up our fresh mushrooms during these events. We will update the additional means available for you to get your hands on some of these amazing mushrooms as we bring additional venues online. If you would like to order mushrooms to be shipped to you, please see our dried products page as we will be posting our dried mushroom options and powdered mushrooms products there. Dried foods retain nearly all their nutritional values and flavors, they rehydrate for recipe use with little effort at all and will provide a better end result than trying to ship fresh mushrooms.

Mycelium Cultures:

​

All mycelium cultures, in any form (liquid cultures, culture plates, grain spawn) fall under the same classification and specific provisions for the return / exchange or replacement / refund have controlling terms that are discussed on our Returns / Refunds page.

All mycelium cultures are certified as being 100 percent clean, pure cultures at the time of shipment and packaged in a manner to help ensure that they arrive that way to you. We complete tests on all mycelium cultures at scheduled intervals and randomly to ensure that the cultures you receive are vibrant, active, healthy cultures. Any cultures that you purchase from us will be of the same exact species / strains that we use daily in our own production operations. It is agreed that the purchaser of any mycelium cultures is knowledgeable and experienced in working with live cultures and the sterile procedures necessary to properly use their new cultures. We regularly “restart” our cultures to ensure that we are providing the most productive cultures possible to our customers.

General Merchandise:

In addition to products that are hand crafted by us, we offer additional products through various fulfillment methods. This may include products that we purchase for repackaging / reselling directly to our customers. We may also offer products that utilize drop shipping processing and you may also find our products offered through additional sales venues. If you purchase products through outside sales venues and you have an issue with your order please follow up with that venue for any refund/replacement requirements that they may have. If that does not resolve any order issues then please contact us directly so we may directly assist with resolving the issue for you.

 

The products that ship directly from our inventory are inspected by us prior to shipping to ensure they meet our quality guidelines. This is done to ensure that you receive the product ordered and in a condition that meets our quality standards. We will not knowingly ship a product that has not meet our quality standards. It may happen however where a product is damaged that we did not observe prior to shipping or while in transit. We will work with you to resolve any damage claims that may occur in relation to a product that your purchased. Communication Standards: 

​

In general, you will most likely find email to provide you with the most complete and timely answer to your question, comment and / or concern. Emails are still reviewed outside of business hours while phone calls will generally be returned the following business day.
